Dawnell, My brother Brent, Stephanie, and my Aunt Debbie My Aunt Chris & Uncle Mike My Cousin Michelle & her Husband Prentiss My Cousin Laura and her beau Kyle I am so amazed by the many people so willing to help. My wonderful Aunt Chris, Uncle Mike, Cousins Laura and Michelle and her husband Prentiss took it upon themselves to hold a fundraiser this last weekend that raised the majority of what I need for my plane ticket. Thanks so much to friends and family that donated to the auction and came to the event. It was a great evening and I am so blessed to have such wonderful people in my life. On Sunday I met an artist and her husband, at a pumpkin patch in Goodrich that use's a lost art form called "pointism". All of her art is biblical and she told me that she would like to help raise funding for this trip. She and her husband donate the proceeds of her artwork to help fulfill Gods will. Let my heart be broken by the things that break the heart of God!

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations” Matthew 28:19 Dear Friends, In the past couple of years there have been many changes in my life and in the lives of those I love. Although most of these changes have been difficult, none can compare to witnessing a young man of only 14 years old lose his battle against cancer. My first question was one that many might ask in this situation. How can God allow for this to happen? I had a really rough time with this one and I believe God sent me an angel in the form of a very good friend of mine. She said, it’s not about “us,” we are here to touch the lives of others. We all have a job to do and when that job is finished we are called home to be with God. Our reward is not here, it is with God in heaven. This forced me to take a look at my life and in doing so I have become closer to God. The Beginning

This is a testimony of how Through His Eyes Africa came to be, it is not about me but about how God was working in my life, this is about Him. 1. 2007 You just never know the impact you can make on someone’s life While working at the Humane Society I attended the local news station twice a month for Pet of the Week. There I met a Meteorologist who always seemed kindly interested in the pets I brought . One morning he asked if I would stay and watch his piece on Swaziland. I wasn’t quite sure what he was talking about but I could tell it meant a lot to him. I stayed and I’m glad I did; that simple invitation to stay and watch changed my life. Sometimes you just don’t know what kind of impact you can make on someone’s life, this was a defining moment for me as I watched this young man of 25 dedicating his life to helping widows and orphans in a another country.
